As one of the most experienced goalkeepers in the world, Petr Cech knows exactly what level he needs to be at playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. The 34-year-old won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award last term after keeping 16 clean sheets, and although he only has six to his name this time around, he believes there are reasons for this. ‘Cech brings the missing ingredient’ Cech – What caught my eye in 2016 “So far it’s a kind of a different campaign because I think I have been doing well but if you take clean sheets, we had a run of games where we conceded at least one goal,” Cech said. “The most important thing is obviously that the team wins but it is good sometimes to have a clean sheet and that solid base at the back.
