Bideford Ladies returned to action in the Devon Women’s Football League Premier on Sunday.They kicked off 2017 with a 3-0 win at Buckland Athletic Reserves.In difficult conditions, the Robins started well, and were denied going ahead early by the offside flag.They eventually made the breakthrough midway through the first half when Beau Dennis took advantage of a partially cleared corner with a long-range shot.Bideford changed their formation in the second half and the score remained 1-0 until the final 10 minutes.After a superb save from keeper Lou Pontin, the Robins counter-attacked, with Beth Ellis tapping home after great work by Lucy Clements and the Bideford midfield.They made …
