Harry Kane’s influence and direct goal contribution would be a huge miss to any side, and judging by that first-half display from Vincent Janssen, Spurs do not have sufficient backup for the England international. Going into tonight’s game against Bayer Leverkusen, Janssen had yet to replicate the goal-scoring exploits that saw him score 31 goals for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar last campaign. Kane’s injury, however, left him as the only first-team option to lead the line this evening.
