Liverpool-United Stalemate Liverpool and Manchester United played out one of the dullest stalemates in living memory last night. Some 0-0 draws can be hailed as tactical games of chess, but not this one: this was just an undeniably terrible game, as both teams’ fear of attacking cancelled the other out.
