Jools Holland announces Newcastle City Hall dates in time for Christmas

Musical master of ceremonies Jools Holland and his much loved Rhythm Blues Orchestra have announced their return to Newcastle City Hall. Renowned as one of the UK’s most popular tours, now in its 21st year, these shows are not to be missed and will this year feature special guests The Selecter’s Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson. Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson, from Coventry based two-tone band and ska pioneers The Selecter, will be joining Jools for the tour. The Selecter released their debut album ‘Too Much Pressure’ in 1980 and it still remains a milestone in British music history. Vocalists Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson relaunched The Selecter in 2011 and have been an unstoppable force ever since entertaining audiences throughout the country with their incredible live performances which includes the show stopping ‘On My Radio’. Fans will be thrilled to hear that the shows will once again feature the astounding vocals of Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall along with a new addition, the rich soulful tones of Beth Rowley.
