Five barred Russian canoeists include Alexander Dyachenko. The International Canoe Federation has barred five Russian canoeists from the Rio de Janeiro Olympics including Olympic champion Alexander Dyachenko after they were named in a report alleging a state-sponsored doping cover-up. The ICF says they were all in World Anti-Doping Agency investigator Richard McLaren’s report last week, which detailed how Russian state officials allegedly intervened to cover up hundreds of failed drug tests.
