AEK replaces coach Ketsbaia with Jose Morais

AEK announced on Tuesday it has replaced manager Temuri Ketsbaia with Portuguese coach Jose Morais. One day after rising to joint second on the table beating Larissa 2-1 away – both goals coming from Vangelis Platellas – AEK announced it was parting ways with its Georgian manager, who paid the price for the poor performance at the 3-0 loss to Olympiakos over two weeks earlier. Within just three hours Morais was at the AEK headquarters and agreed to sign a contract with the Cup holders up to the end of the season, with an option for one more year.
