Rise to the top Ousman Manneh left Gambia as a refugee two years ago and this weekend scored his first Bundesliga goal, firing in the winner as Werder Bremen beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-1. Two years ago he was playing football in a refugee centre in Germany after leaving his entire family behind in the Yahya Jammeh-dictatorship of Gambia.
