Coffee has become an integral part of our lives. We have it in the morning to wake us up, around lunch, just because that’s what you do when you’re out for lunch, we even have it in the afternoon for a midday pick me up, and if you’re a hardcore Gilmore Girls fan you have it in the evening and in the middle of the night too. Coffee is such a big part of our lives that we’re used to it being a pastime or a reason to meet up with friends. Think about it, you rarely say “let’s meet up”, but how often have you said “let’s go out for coffee” in the past week.
With all that coffee drinking you probably have tried every coffee drink available under the sun, or so you think. But oh no, my friend. Apart from all the cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites that Starbuck’s has to offer there are at least 8 more ways you can have your coffee that you haven’t tried yet and that’s exactly what we’re going to talk about today.
1. Coffee Tonic
If you like your coffee black, but are getting tired of the same old espresso every day this is a great option for you. Instead of having a tiny cup of espresso that’s gone in one gulp you can now enjoy your caffeine shot for a bit longer and feel refreshed and energized at the same time. All you need is a glass of tonic water and a shot of espresso. Just pour the coffee into the tonic water and enjoy the beautiful bubbly drink.
2. Bulletproof coffee
We’ve all heard about this bulletproof coffee trend, but few of us actually tried it. Bulletproof coffee is just coffee with a spoon of butter in it. Sounds a bit gross, doesn’t it? But apparently it’s actually delicious, makes the coffee taste smoother and creamier and it also promises a longer lasting energy boost. And if you’re weird about butter you can substitute it with coconut oil.
