Earth and Its Moon as Seen From Mars

GeekWire report that the photograph NASA has released has been constructed out of the best shots of our moon and the Earth, based on four sets of images. Thanks to the U.S. space agency NASA, which has provided us a glimpse of Earth and Moon from the Red Planet through an incredible picture. When the component images were taken on November 20, 2016 by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera on NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Mars was about 127 million miles (205 million kilometers) from Earth. MRO captured Earth and Moon differently and scientists at the United States space agency later processed and stitched the images to make one composite picture that shows both – the moon and Earth. Iran’s ex-President Hashemi Rafsanjani dies at 82
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani attended the hospital where Ayatollah Rafsanjani was hospitalized, undergoing treatment. He was a widely known figure and veteran of Iranian politics, having been president for eight years from 1987. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has been studying Mars since 2006, using HiRISE and five other instruments. These images were acquired for calibration of HiRISE data, since the spectral reflectance of the Moon’s near side is very well known.NASA has recently released new picture from the outer space where an image of the Earth and the moon reportedly captured from Mars. Nicola Sturgeon: Soft Brexit could see SNP put aside push for independence
Nicola Sturgeon has climbed down from a threat to call a quickfire second referendum on independence because of Brexit. Kezia Dugdale, the Scottish Labour leader, said the binary choice being offered by Sturgeon was far too rigid. “The moon is much darker than Earth and would barely be visible at the same brightness scale as Earth”, NASA wrote in a post. NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a division of Caltech in Pasadena, California, manages the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter Project for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, Washington. The landmass seen in the middle of Earth is Australia, as seen from a distance of about 127 million miles (205 million kilometers), which is how far Mars was when the images were captured. However, the image does reflect “the correct sizes and positions of the two bodies relative to each other”. Martin Shkreli Was Just Suspended From Twitter
He changed his banner to a collage of photos of Duca, overlaid with lyrics from John Michael Montgomery’s 1994 single “I Swear”. That clip went viral due to Carlson’s statement that Duca should stop talking about politics and “stick to thigh-high boots”. The composite image is showing relative size of Earth and moon in relation to each other. Earth is having a blue, green and red tint. The reddish object near the centre of Earth is Australia, and the clumps at the top left corner are bits of Southeast Asia. The lushly green region appears red because this is a false color image.
